Strategic China Initiative (SCI) exists to assist in training leaders to reach the major urban centers, college campuses and minority people groups of China. Our vision is to see Chinese church planters from the cities, campuses and minority groups equipped to transform China and fulfill the Back to Jerusalem vision of preaching the Gospel in the Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist nations in the most needy places on earth. Over the last twenty years, China has experienced a revival unparalleled throughout church history. The gospel is preached, house churches proliferate and thousands of souls enter the kingdom daily. A cry has gone out from key leaders in this Chinese revival: “Help us train our leaders to manage this mighty harvest in China and reach the nations for Christ!” We do this by establishing training centers throughout China. For most of these ministers this will be the first time they have received foundational theology and training for ministry. Proven Chinese pastors conduct the training and pay careful attention to keeping it practical, as well as appropriate, in the Chinese context. Curriculum topics include evangelism, leadership, church history, foundational theology, apologetics, discipleship, marriage, and the family. Today, over 20,000 leaders are going through our training curriculum each year.
